"Elizabeth has been helping my son with his college applications and essays. She has been wonderful from day one, keeping him focused and on track. She has a great understanding of teenagers, she found a way to really connect with him and get his work done without feeling any anxiety. Having her alleviated our stress greatly and we completely trusted her opinions and guidance. She has a broad knowledge of what colleges look for. She tailored my son’s list of places to apply and helped him choose his majors. She got him to write his essays on time and really streamlined the entire process for him. We couldn’t have done this without her help. We highly recommend her expertise and her warm, easy to work with personality. I have recommended many of my friends and colleagues to her."

"Mrs. Carroll played a pivotal role in my college application journey. Her prompt and valuable feedback, along with effective techniques, helped me generate compelling ideas. With extensive experience in the admissions process, she readily addressed all my inquiries and steered me in the proper direction. Having navigated both group and personalized assistance, I found Mrs. Carroll's one-on-one support more advantageous. Her insights were tailored to my unique story, unlike the generic templates offered by group settings that couldn't cater to individual needs." Loïc C., Class of 2024

"We have been very favorably impressed with Elizabeth’s process and the progress our son has made in pursuit of his college goals. During their first session together, she set out a detailed timeline for the next 12-15 months. While understanding that various time commitments could alter the timeframes, she was appropriately firm from the outset regarding her expectations and the rationale behind them. The frequency of the appointments increased as application deadlines approached, and she has proven to be very flexible in accommodating our son’s rigorous academic and sports schedules. Each session is followed by a summary of the items discussed and outlines tasks that are to be completed prior to the next appointment. The tasks provide guidance while still requiring our son to take ownership of the process. Elizabeth has also provided sound guidance regarding nationwide SAT and ACT testing, along with resources that our son has used to prepare for these tests; information regarding factors to consider in determining whether a college is a good fit; and information regarding financial resources to pay for his education. Overall, we have found Elizabeth’s positive attitude and commitment to her charge impressive and refreshing. She has effectively encouraged our son to explore a variety of educational options, to consider the pros and cons of his decisions, and to challenge himself as he enters this next phase of his life.
